We hope that Mother’s Day was a little more special this year for the 100 moms-to-be of deployed and soon-to-be redeployed soldiers who were showered with gifts in honor of the 100th anniversary of Mother’s Day. On Saturday, May 10th, Operation Shower, in partnership with Wal-Mart, its suppliers and 40 other companies, completed its mission of hosting unit wide showers in Twentynine Palms, California, in San Diego for the spouses of soldiers aboard the USS Nimitz, in Fort Bragg, North Carolina and at Scott Air Force Base. We are grateful for the kindness and generosity of all of the companies and individuals that made this possible. Operation Shower salutes you!

Wal-Mart: Wal-Mart generously donated many items to the moms-to-be including Jumparoos (Fort Bragg) and a selection of other baby gear items to the showers for the USS Nimitz, Twentynine Palms and Scott Air Force Base new moms and moms-to-be. All 100 moms also received a $50 Wal-Mart gift card.
